Iñaki Hormaza
Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of California, Davis, since 1994.He joined CSIC as a Research Professor in 2007.
Throughout his scientific career, he has coordinated numerous national and international research projects and private sector collaborations focused on the study of genetic diversity, germplasm characterization and conservation, and reproductive biology in subtropical and temperate fruit crops.
He has published more than 200 scientific and technical articles.


Ítalo Herbert Lucena Cavalcante
Ph.D. in Plant Production (UNESP, Brazil), Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Francisco Valley (Brazil).
Head of the FRUTVASF research group.
Faculty member of the Graduate Program in Agronomy.
Researcher in the physiology of mango production with emphasis on nutrient management and biostimulation.
Co-founder of Plant Soil Laboratories and RUBISCO Agro Science.


Ping Lu
Ph.D. and Chair of the Mango Working Group of the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS).
Expert in mango physiology, irrigation, canopy management and breeding.
Professor at the University of Queensland, Australia and Griffith University, Australia.
Previously Senior Research Scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia.


Víctor Galán Saúco
Ph.D. and retired Research Professor from the Canary Islands Institute of Agricultural Research (ICIA).
Consultant in Tropical Fruit Crops.
Researcher in the development of tropical and subtropical fruit crops, particularly mango, banana, and lychee.
Author of numerous scientific publications, Associate Editor, and reviewer for scientific journals.
Evaluator for graduate programs at Latin American universities. Regular consultant for the National Mango Board in the USA and has served as a consultant for FAO, EMBRAPA, and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
