En 2007 se incorporo como Profesor de Investigaci\u00f3n del CSIC.
En su carrera cient\u00edfica ha coordinado numerosos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n nacionales e internacionales<\/strong> y contratos con el sector privado centrados en estudio de la diversidad gen\u00e9tica, caracterizaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n de germoplasma y biolog\u00eda reproductiva en frutales subtropicales y de zonas templadas.
